Relax and Restore Classes
We are running a variety of Wellbeing classes with Laura Routh-Parsons, these include Yoga, Meditation, Day Retreats, Candlelit Yoga Evenings in the Winter and Yoga Supper Evenings in the Summer.
All of our Relax & Restore classes are fine for beginners. We have no more than 8 people, so you will receive plenty of support and guidance from Laura.
On a Monday morning, we run a one hour Restorative Yoga and a one hour Meditation class.
The Meditation class is the perfect way to explore what meditation is and how it can help you develop a practice to help you both focus and relax. We will cover pranayama which is breath work, listen and use mantras and affirmations, visualisations, yoga nidra (which is deep relaxation) sound meditation and more. The Restorative Yoga Class is a really gentle way to start your week, we will move through gentle postures and restorative pauses using props with the intent of nourishing mind, body
Our Relax & Restore Retreat Days are perfect for you to escape for the day, these are usually held on a Saturday. The day includes a blend of Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga and
Yoga Nidra, a Mindful Walk amongst the three acres of garden and woodland, delicious and healthy food, some Wellbeing advice and a creative activity.
During the year when we have dark evenings, we will be running wonderful Candlelit Yoga evenings by the fireside. These are really special, relaxing and comforting and will help
prepare you for a great night’s sleep afterwards. We also enjoy a nutritious soup supper with warming drinks.
