Claire has worked with one of the world's most renowned paint chemists to develop unique, never before created formulas for each colour. The paints are manufactured in the traditional way; large chunks of the finest quality gum arabic are very slowly dissolved in cold water to preserve the gums maximum binding capacity. Honey is then added to give vibrancy and luminosity to the colour, it also works as a natural preservative.
 
The colour chemist selects the finest pigments to be finely grounded and soaked in purified water to allow the colour to develop their vibrancy as they combine. The mix is passed over a traditional triple mill 3 or 4 times to achieve a bright luminous colour.
